TWom is a triple threat, combining trumpet, keys and singing into songwriting that sounds like Nina Simone meets David Bowie.
She released her fifth studio album Evolution in 2020 and currently resides in Philadelphia where she is recording her next album More Trumpet!
Originally from Maryland,
In high school she was admitted to the National Symphony Orchestra Youth Fellowship Program. TWom received her Bachelor's of Music in Trumpet Performance in 2008 from the University of Maryland where she studied with Chris Gekker. After graduating she founded the band La Coterie before creating her solo act Trumpet Grrrl later upgrading her name to Trumpet Wom aka TWom.
Some highlights of her career include recording at Converse Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, YouTube Studios in Nashville and with GRAMMY winning producer Scott Jacoby.
